A day in the life of an American Soldier. The personal passages of everything from family life to war.

Nothing to do with the Military.

American Soldier says,

I think there is something really suspicious about those two kids who got kidnapped and were found. I smell the stench of something weird!

Glad they are home but what gives?

One was missing for like 4 1/2 years — pretty amazing he made it home alive… I agree something weird was definitely going on, but what? Guess we’ll all find out in time… I just wonder, especially for the one that was gone for years, how much therapy they will need…

Yeah that does sound strange but it’s a miracle that they were found alive! Usually those cases don’t turn out so well! I was thinking the same thing Kat about the kids needing therapy especially the one who was held for years.

It’s a miracle those boys were found. I am wondering why the older boy didn’t run away while the Devlin guy was at work? I am hoping he wasn’t sexually and psychologically abused. It will be interesting to see what comes out in the near future. I couldn’t imagine. I am glad they were found alive at least and hopefully their healing will be smooth. Thank goodness for their families.

I agree, it was a miracle they were found alive. I am now hearing brainwashing, but things will come out as the investigation continues.

Makes me wonder how many other kids are in similar situations.

Look into Stockholm Syndrome. It’sll explain a few things.

Wonder how many months until the creep is back on the streets looking for another child?

Hey, AS! This is way off the subject but I am curious as to what your views are on the Air(wo)man posing for Playboy? And do you think she really thought she was doing nothing wrong? chuckle…chuckle

I think she is hot but that is my personal opinion. However, she is still in the military and it was wrong for her to not ask for permision first. It is not in the best interest and heritage of the military to pose in that type of magazine.

I’m still going to buy that edition. ;)

If there’s nothing wrong with looking at the photos, there shouldn’t be anything wrong with posing in the photos either.

AS… Maybe it will help with recruiting, having her in that magazine, after all, look who reads that mag. lol

As to the kidnapping, more and more information is coming out, and it is getting very weird. Shawn had access to a computer, contacted his parent’s website set up to try to locate him, drove around in a pickup truck without any adult supervision, and spent time alone. Things are getting weird.

Be prepared. You’re not going to like what you eventually hear about the actions of that older boy while he was in captivity. On the other hand, it’s very likely that the only reason he survived is because he was malleable. We should not assume that this was the first child kidnapped by that predator, or that the prior captives are still alive.

Remember Patty Hearst? There were pictures of her holding a machine gun in a bank after she was kidnapped, and some very silly statements. I’ve heard that she is past that, now.

Bill O’Reilly said that the kid enjoyed his time there playing video games and not going to school
