For the past several months, we have been working on organizing a Support Our Troops Rally and Concert which is now coming to fruition. On Saturday, May 28th, 2005 in Perryville, MD the event will finally come together.
Featured artists so far include Hank Break, The Kory Brunson Band, Tony Diana, Sally Mudd and Christopher Altman. All of the artists represent various genres of music and are known for producing music in support of our deployed Military. Many are going on from us to perform in USO events.
We’re hoping you can help us get the word out about the concert via your blog, word of mouth or any other legal means! J 100% of the proceeds from this even will be donated to Adopt A Platoon and to the Aberdeen Proving Grounds MWR programs. Well, actually Maj (Chaplain) Jeff Waters will disburse the funds to APG as is needed. Adopt A Platoon, for those who do not already know, is a non-profit soldier support group which provides deployment support to all of our uniformed services.
Thank you for your time and any assistance in getting the word out that you may be able to give us. Any questions can be directed to myself @ email@example.com or Terri Szendrodi @ firstname.lastname@example.org we have also set up email@example.com for the general public.
